(3) Reduce contact pressure. There are many factors that affect the contact pressure. Reducing the contact pressure will reduce the strength of the interaction force between the rail and the fish plate. Operating conditions, axle load, vehicle speed, etc. will have a greater impact on it, some of which must be subjected to working conditions, such as load, vehicle speed, etc., and some can be adjusted by improving the operating conditions, such as maintaining proper Rail seams, good joint maintenance, etc. In addition, the shape of the mating surface of the rail and the fishplate will also affect the contact pressure.
