What is Fang Bolt?
Railway Fang bolt is also called rail anchor bolt. They are usually inserted into the holes of the railroad sleeper for fixing purposes.
The design of Fang bolts uses fan-shaped nuts. This design can help fang bolts grasp the lower surface of the sleepers, thereby ensuring that the entire rail fastening system is firmly anchored in the proper position and cannot be moved or moved in any direction.
Railway fang bolts are more reliable than screw spikes and track spikes. Therefore, they are usually used in places where railways are more vulnerable (such as rail switch tie paltes). They are also used to fix rails during sharp turns. However, Fang bolts are not widely used because it is difficult to fix and remove these bolts.
