Rail tie plate is used to provide smooth and uniform supporting surface for railway track and connecting belt. Due to its own steel material, it can well support the upper rail track, thereby effectively preventing the track from cutting into the connecting belt and maintaining the track gauge.
The rail soleplate is often fixed on the sleeper together with rail anchor bolts or rail spikes. In this way, the steel rails, the railway fixing system and the sleepers are closely connected together. When a train passes by, the load of the train wheels can be evenly distributed to the connecting belt, and then transmitted to the sleepers and the entire sleeper bed of the railway, thereby reducing the impact of the train on the rail when the train passes, and has the effect of damping.
The production process of rail tie plate is generally divided into three categories: forging, rolling and casting.
Casting is the most commonly used production process. Kirail's casting technology is mature, good quality, and low unit price is the choice of most customers.
Casting is mainly used for rail tie plates in the United States, Canada and other European and American countries. Since casting requires higher craftsmanship, most railway fastener manufacturers in China cannot do it. However, Kirail's casting technology capabilities are very strong. We have a stable supplier of casting raw materials. There are more than 10 engineers and technicians who can accurately design the casting rail tie plate mold, and improve the processing size of the casting rail tie plate through hot pre-coating or machining.
Rail tie plate production process: raw material-forging or casting (1100 degrees Celsius)-forming-hardening-tempering below 350 degrees Celsius-oiling-inspection-packaging
