Rail sleeper plates, also called rail tie plates or rail sole plates, are the main components in the railway construction of the crane rail or rail support system. Rail sleeper plates are not only used to support the rail, but also to fix the entire rail fastening system. It always works with anchor bolts or rail spikes, by bearing the load of the rail and transferring part of the load to the sleeper. It has a flat and smooth shelving surface to ensure vertical alignment and keep the rail in the correct rail gauge on-line system.
Rail Sleeper Plates Manufacturer:
As the most competitive manufacturer of forged sleeper plates in China, Kingrail Parts can manufacture various types of sleeper plates through casting (welded or fabricated), forging or rolling, suitable for different rails, for wood and steel Quality or concrete sleepers, depending on the load and rail standards, ie UIC 60, UIC 54, RN 45, 90 A, etc.
1. Casting rail sleeper plates
The tie plates can be cast iron or cast steel, depending on the load and rail type. According to customer requirements, cast iron can be welded or manufactured type.
Type: Applicable rail UIC54, UIC60, 50kg rail, 60kg rail, S49 and order size
Material: QT500-7 or QT450-10 (forged low-carbon steel or high-carbon steel, rolled low-carbon steel S275JR, Q235, etc.)
2. One-shoulder rail sleeper plates
For single-shoulder tie plates, the shoulder is designed at the field end of the plates. The short end or rail gauge end of tie plates is placed inside the rail, which is why customers always need the width of the bottom of the rail. One-shoulder tie plates are usually used for rail weights ranging from 56 pounds to 100 pounds.
3. Double shoulder rail sleeper plates
Currently, the double-shoulder type is used. The older single-shoulder type is suitable for various rail widths, and the single-shoulder is located on the outside (field side) of the rail.
4. Baseplates of KPO fastening system
Rail tie plates are a key component in the KPO fastening system, which is used to support the rail and fix the entire fastening system. It is tied to the rail with rail bolts and rail spikes.
5.AREMA standard tie plates
For the US market, common sizes are 11-inch, 14-inch and 14-3/4-inch pull plates, which are generally used for 5-1/2-inch and 6-inch wide rail bases.
