Railway fish plate is also called rail joint bar, splicing bar. The railway fishplate is used as a rail fastener to connect the two ends of the rail. Railroad fishplates are easier to weld than steel rails, so they are widely used in rail connection.
The rail fishplate is generally used in conjunction with fishtail bolts. There is a bolt hole in the middle of the fishplate, and the upper working surface is in contact with the lower part of the rail head along the upper and lower sides of the horizontal axis of the screw hole. The lower working surface is in contact with the upper part of the rail bottom, and the rear of the upper working surface extends upward to form a transition section higher than the rail surface. The transition section forms a middle arch, which is a low middle arch along the length.
Types of railway fishplates:
According to different applications, rail joint bar can be divided into many types. Typical types of rail joints include ordinary rail fish plates, insulated rail fish plates, non-standard rail fish plates and compromise rail fish plates.
1. Ordinary fish plate
We provide 4-hole or 6-hole fish plate, suitable for 60 kg, UIC, 54 kg UIC, 52 kg UIC, 52 kg, 90A, 90R, 80A, 80'O', 88'O', 75R, 60R, 115 RE , 132 RE, 50R rail, etc.
2. Joggled fish plate
This product is a special fish plate. It is suitable for the clamp assembly of various rail sections, and is suitable for the temporary repair of crack-welded rail joints. Used as an emergency clamp, the articulated fishplate can be quickly and temporarily repaired, allowing continued movement through the part at a reduced linear speed.
3. Compromise the fish plate
We produce specially designed fishplates that can connect two different rail sections when different customers need it.
4. Insulated fish plate
Insulated rail fish plate is generally used in railway sections or leaky sections near power plants. Insulated rail fish plate can effectively prevent leakage accidents.
