Railway Bolts Definition:
Railway bolts, also called fang bolts or rail anchor bolts, are used to fix rails and rail chairs on sleepers, or to fix rail joints on connecting rails.
The rail bolt is a bolt that passes through a hole in the sleeper and has a toothed nut embedded in the lower surface of the sleeper.
Generally speaking, the size of rail bolts varies according to the requirements of the rail segment. The appropriate rail bolt diameter and length can be determined by checking the applicable railway standards.
Advantages of Railway Bolts:
1. The hole preparation is the same as traditional/old rail bolts
2. Convenient and quick to use.
3. Save time and money
Railway Bolts Functions:
Rail bolts and washers are used in railway fastening systems as a way to fix the rails. In most cases, when people build new railway systems, sleepers are made of concrete instead of wood. In order to fix the rail on the concrete sleeper, the rail must be anchored in the concrete by using a fixing bracket to fix the rail steel in the correct position. All of this can be done by using railway bolts and nuts.
Types of Railway Bolts:
Kingrail Parts manufactures a wide range of rail bolts, including clamp bolts, clip bolts, anchor bolts and hook bolts, etc. Most of the bolts are made by hot forging production engineering and can be used for different rail fastening systems from different countries’ railways And tunnel construction, we specialize in the production of large-diameter bolts with strength grades of 4.6, 5.6, 8.8 and 10.9. Surface treatments include black oxidation, galvanizing, hot-dip galvanizing, etc., depending on specific requirements, drawings, etc.
