Railway sleeper coach screws, also called screw spikes or rail chair screws, are usually used to fix wooden railway sleepers with tie plates or rail chairs.
Coach screws are designed with a square head at the top and a cylindrical shaft with external threads on the other end. The railway sleeper coach screw used by Kingrail Parts is carbon steel with a tensile strength of 550-700 N/mm. Both the design and materials help wedge the coach screws easily and provide a solid hold.
Kingrail Parts provides head stamping characters for AS Coachscrew and M Coachscrew. High-strength coach screws for sleepers can be customized. High strength coach screws will be marked HT on the head. The surface of the finished product is hot-dip galvanized for corrosion resistance.
