Rail insulator, also called rail nylon insulator, railroad insulator, is a plastic block installed between steel rails and rail tie plates. The railway insulators are installed between the rail and the sleepers and are used to adjust the rail gauge and electrically insulate the rails, rail clips and bolts from the concrete sleepers. Its function is the same as the rail rubber pad, but it is thicker than the rail pad. For high-speed or high-load trains, it is an indispensable fastener.
Kingrail Parts provides E-rail insulators and guide plates for the SKL rail fastening system and Nabla clip fastening system. The material of our rail insulator is usually reinforced nylon 66 (PA66). Our rail insulators can meet UIC, GB, DIN, AREMA/ASTM, BS, JIS and other standards.

Our Rail Insulators:
1. E type Rail Insulator
E-type rail insulators are used in the E-type clip fastening system. They are used together with E clips, rail shoulder and rail pads. Its function is to buffer the pressure of passing trains on the steel rails, so that the steel rails can be restored to their original position. The rail pads below the track.
2. SKL Rail Insulator
SKL rail insulators, also called guide plates, are used in SKL fastening systems and are used in conjunction with SKL clips, screw spikes, plastic dowels, flat washers and rail pads.
