Railway shoulders are prefabs in concrete sleepers, either single or double, used to secure elastic rail clips (mainly e-clips) within the fastening system.

Cast in Shoulder:
Cast in Shoulder is cast in iron, the shoulder is pre-embedded in the concrete sleeper and used together with the elastic clip to hold the rail.
In terms of material, there are 3 types of cast shoulders: MCI shoulders for malleable iron and SGCI shoulders for malleable iron and SGCI shoulders for ductile iron.

Welded Shoulder:
Welded shoulders are used in a typical location for rails, where the rail shoulders are welded to flat steel plates rather than standard sleepers. Welded shoulders are produced by hot forging according to the AREA standard. According to the customer's requirements, the material for the production of welded shoulders can be mild steel or medium carbon steel.
The rail shoulder design described above is suitable for almost all rail sizes, and the material is made of mild steel.
Hot Forged Shoulder
This type of rail shoulder is produced by hot forging, and the raw materials can be selected from low carbon steel and medium carbon steel according to customer requirements. Hot forged rail shoulders with collet bolts and special rail clips fix the rails.
