Application standards of Railway Bolts:
According to relevant rail standards, each rail joint needs to be bolted, and each rail has at least two rail bolts, tightened to a torque of about 400 foot pounds, and the bolt tension is between 25,000 and 30,000 pounds.
1. The rail bolts in use must be of appropriate size and fastened in place.
2. The rail bolt must be installed together with the AREMA spring washer, and the nut must be installed against the spring washer.
3. The rail bolts must be installed, and the nuts must be installed alternately on the inside and outside of the rail.
4. When the rail bolt and the connecting rod are removed, the connecting area of the rail and the contact surface of the connecting rod must be cleaned, and the connecting rod and bolt threads must be lubricated.
5. Safety standards require that all rails with missing or invalid rail bolts are allowed to operate.
